Louis Poulsen lighting presents the Patera range. This range comes from the subtle alliance between Louis Poulsen and one of the greatest Danish designers, Oivind Slaatto. Launched over a year ago, this fixture was an instant hit. Its natural curves and very aesthetic structure make it easy to adapt to a large number of decorative styles. The “large” version being suitable for large spaces, Louis Poulsen created a smaller template to match any interior. At the “Design awards 2016” in Denmark, she won the lamp of the year award.
From noble origins
The Danish designer created this lamp based on a Fibonacci sequence, in other words the golden ratio, representing perfection. A sequence that has inspired great artists like Leonardo da Vinci or even Sébastien Bach. Coupled with 3d technology, Patera luminaires are the perfect combination of direct and indirect light. Everything has been thought of to create a natural alchemy in your interior.
Patera emits a soft and pleasant light, the secret of which lies in its complex design: the lamp consists of a variety of cells positioned differently, they are applied in such a way that the rays of light avoid unpleasant reflections. At the same time, the structure remains Patera’s visual center, constantly providing new impressions of light when viewed from different angles. Patera is made of white synthetic material and is relatively lightweight, making it ideal for many locations. The assembly process is carried out by hand. The device is delivered assembled, and has a simple suspension system which makes it very easy to install.
Models for all your desires !
The addition of two new models to the Patera family (450mm and 900mm in diameter) offers architects, designers and home customers new opportunities to generate greater variation in their lighting solutions. It also allows the application of a more consistent design for large and small spaces.
All Patera models are supplied in E27 version and LED version. The LED versions offer light emission that is both energy efficient and of optimal quality to imbue the room with a pleasant atmosphere.
